Passed away peacefully at Papakura Private Hospital 28th November 2025.

Beloved son of the late Frank and Dorrie Hirst of Hunua.

Loved brother of Joan Crosby, George,  Basil and John ( all deceased )

Loved and respected Uncle to his many Nephews and Nieces.

Many thanks to the Papakura Private Hospital for their outstanding care of Ernie.

A service to celebrate Ernie’s life will be held in the Kowhai Chapel, 35 Wood Street, Papakura on Friday 5^th December at 11am,

followed by Private cremation.
