Peacefully at Summerset Karaka on July 12, 2026, aged 89 years.  Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Gary. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Wendy and Peter (Australia), Mark and Misun (Takanini), Sue and Don (Hokitika). Treasured Nana Pat of David, Sarah, Hana, Josh, Zak, Louie, and nine great-grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Madge and Frank Brain (Hamilton), and sister and sister-in-law of Pamela and the late David McAdam. Loved by all her extended family and many friends. Pat was a kind and gentle soul who filled our lives with fun and laughter.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at Fountain’s Kowhai Chapel, 35 Wood Street, Papakura on Saturday 18 July at 11am. Livestream available through fountains website.
